Safety & Trust
Real chefs. Real homes. Real accountability.
Inviting someone into your home requires trust. ChefHub takes that seriously — every chef on this platform has been vetted, interviewed, and background-checked before they ever take a booking.
Our Process
How we vet every chef
Step 01
Application & Review
Every chef submits a detailed application including their culinary background, experience, and photos. We review each one manually.
Step 02
AI Fit Score
We run an AI-assisted scoring process on each application to assess fit, professionalism, and alignment with ChefHub standards.
Step 03
Qualification Interview
Qualifying candidates do a video interview with the ChefHub team. We assess communication, culinary philosophy, and safety awareness.
Step 04
Background Check
All approved chefs pass a Checkr background screening before being listed on the platform. No exceptions.
Background checks are mandatory
No chef appears on ChefHub without a cleared Checkr background screening. This is a hard requirement — not optional, not waivable.

Trust your instincts
If something feels off before or during a booking, you can cancel or report. Your safety comes first.
Report issues immediately
Use the in-app report tool or email us at safety@chefhub.com. We investigate all safety reports within 24 hours.
For Chefs
Host guidelines
ChefHub chefs are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times during bookings. This includes arriving on time, respecting the client's home, and following all food safety practices required by Minnesota Department of Health guidelines.
Any conduct violation — harassment, property damage, misrepresentation of credentials, or off-platform payments — will result in immediate suspension and investigation.
Chefs are encouraged to review a client's profile and communicate clearly about dietary restrictions, kitchen access, and guest count before confirming a booking.
