Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ChefHub (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users including viewers, chefs, and visitors.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make purchases on ChefHub. By using the Platform you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account or use another person's account. ChefHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Chef Content and Conduct

Chefs approved to publish on ChefHub are responsible for the accuracy of their content, including recipes, nutrition information, and booking details. ChefHub reviews chef applications but does not independently verify all content. Chefs must comply with all applicable food safety laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Platform subscriptions, channel subscriptions, tips, and booking fees are processed through Stripe. All sales are final unless otherwise stated. Subscription charges are billed on a recurring basis and may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. ChefHub takes a platform fee on transactions as disclosed in our revenue schedule.

6. In-Person Bookings

ChefHub facilitates connections between chefs and viewers for in-home dining experiences. ChefHub is not a party to the services performed and is not responsible for the conduct of chefs or viewers during bookings. Users participate at their own risk. Chefs listed on ChefHub have undergone a background screening process, but no screening process is infallible.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Circumvent platform fees by arranging off-platform transactions with chefs you discovered through ChefHub
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Platform
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation

8. Intellectual Property

ChefHub and its content (excluding chef-generated content) are owned by ChefHub. Chef-generated content remains the property of the chef. By posting content on ChefHub you grant ChefHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content on the Platform.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. ChefHub does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChefHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any in-person booking arranged through it.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hennepin County, Minnesota.

12. Changes to These Terms

ChefHub may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
